Easy & Healthy Toddler Quiche Recipe for Busy Mums!
These mini crustless quiches are ideal for baby led weaning toddlers, as they're easy to pick up and put into the mouth.
They are also mighty in nutrition to support our little ones' healthy growth. Lots of healthy vegetables can be compact-packed (or hidden, for picky eaters) into these little bakes!
Recipe for Easy & Healthy Toddler Quiche
- Chop or grate vegetables you'll like to include (I usually use pre-prepared seasonal vegetables already cubed and set aside in the freezer for toddler meals, which saves me even more time)
Carrots, cauliflower, broccoli and peppers are great options to make the quiche flavourful and colourful. For protein you can include minced meat.
- Stir a large egg into the chopped or grated vegetables in a bowl. Mix well
- Pour into mini muffin tray, filling up 3/4 of each muffin compartment
- Bake at 180 degrees/350 fahrenheit for 18 minutes or until cooked through
- Let the quiches cool
Let your little one tuck in!
Great for Packing Into Lunch Boxes
If you intend to let your toddler have meals or snacks outside, these mini quiches are great to bring along in lunch boxes. They hold up well for hours and is relatively easy to handle for little toddler hands without making too much of a mess.
For excess quiches, you can store them in food storage bags in the refrigerator for next day consumption.
